✅ Reasons the starter motor does not operate when the engine is ignited:

1️⃣ The battery loses more power than usual or already damaged internally.

2️⃣ The battery pole is too dirty or the wire connector is loose.

3️⃣ The additional relay contacts cannot be closed or ablated.

4️⃣ Electromagnetic switch contacts are ablated.

5️⃣ There are problems within the starter motor (eg: dirty commutator, excessive brush wear, brush spring that is too weak, brush stuck in the brush holder, open circuit, short circuit or ground fault in the field winding or armature winding).

✅ The starter motor can operate, but the reason for the weak operation may be:

1️⃣ The battery loses more power than usual or already damaged internally.

2️⃣ The wire is in poor contact.

3️⃣ The field winding or armature winding within the starter motor has short-circuited, the grounding and the bearing are too tight.

✅ If the battery is not severely weak, it is only able to provide large currents for a short period of time eventhough the circuit and idling is normal, therefore causing the starter motor to weaken.

The battery is in good technical condition and the circuit is normal, but the starter motor is still weak, causing the engine unable to start, the reasons may be:

1️⃣ The surface of the commutator copper sheet is too dirty.

2️⃣ Too much carbon brush wear or insufficient carbon brush spring pressure, which makes the carbon brush contact poor.

3️⃣ The excitation winding or armature winding is partially short-circuited, causing the power of the starter motor to drop.

4️⃣ The gap between the copper sleeve is too large, causing friction between the armature and the pole core.

6️⃣ The starter motor switch contact is ablated.

7️⃣ The engine assembly is too tight or the temperature is too low, which makes the rotation resistance too large.

✅ 当接通起动机开关或按下起动按钮时，起动机不转的原因:

1️⃣ 蓄电池亏电较多，或内部损坏。

2️⃣ 蓄电池极桩太脏或导线接头松动。

3️⃣ 附加继电器触点不能闭合或烧蚀。

4️⃣ 电磁开关触点烧蚀。

5️⃣ 起动机内部有故障(如整流子脏污、电刷磨损过多、电刷弹簧过弱、电刷在刷架中卡死、磁场绕组或电枢绕组有断路、短路或搭铁故障)。

✅ 起动机能够运转，但运转无力的原因可能是:

1️⃣ 蓄电池亏电较多或内部损坏。

2️⃣ 导线接触不良。

3️⃣ 起动机内部的磁场绕组或电枢绕组短路、搭铁以及轴承配合过紧。

✅ 若蓄电池部分缺电，虽然线路正常，空转也正常，但负载情况下，蓄电池短时间提供大电流能力不足，故出现起动机负载无力现象。

若蓄电池技术状况良好，线路也正常，而起动机负载仍然无力，不能使发动机起动，其原因可能是:

1️⃣ 换向器铜片表面过脏。

2️⃣ 炭刷磨损过多或炭刷弹簧压力不足，使炭刷接触不良。

3️⃣ 激磁绕组或电枢绕组局部短路，致使起动机功率下降。

4️⃣ 铜套间隙过大，使电枢与磁极铁芯磨擦。

6️⃣ 起动机开关触点烧蚀。

7️⃣ 发动机装配过紧或温度过低，使转动阻力过大。

✅ Sebab mengapakah motor starter tidak beroperasi apabila enjin dihidupkan:

5️⃣ Terdapat masalah dalam motor starter (contohnya: komutator kotor, keausan berus Corbon, spring berus yang terlalu lemah, sikat tersekat pada pemegang berus, litar, terbuka, litar pintas atau kesalahan tanah di lilitan medan atau belitan angker).

✅ Motor pemula boleh beroperasi, tetapi sebab operasi yang lemah mungkin:

1️⃣ Bateri kehilangan lebih banyak kuasa daripada biasa atau sudah rosak secara dalaman.

2️⃣ wayar tidak bersentuhan.

3️⃣ Lilitan coil atau belitan angker di dalam motor pemula mempunyai litar pintas, pembumian dan galas terlalu ketat.

✅ Sekiranya bateri tidak lemah, ia hanya dapat memberikan arus besar untuk jangka masa yang singkat walaupun litar dan pemalasan normal, oleh itu menyebabkan motor starter menjadi lemah.

Bateri dalam keadaan teknikal yang baik dan litarnya normal, tetapi motor starter masih lemah, menyebabkan enjin tidak dapat menyala, sebabnya mungkin:

1️⃣ Permukaan kepingan tembaga commutator terlalu kotor.

2️⃣ Terlalu banyak memakai berus karbon atau tekanan berus karbon yang tidak mencukupi, yang menyebabkan hubungan menjadi lemah.

3️⃣ Penggulungan penggulungan atau penggulungan angker sebahagiannya berlitar pintas, menyebabkan daya motor starter turun.

4️⃣ Jurang antara lengan tembaga terlalu besar, menyebabkan geseran antara angker dan tiang.

Moreover, start the alternator and measure the voltage between the two poles of the battery again. If the measured value is lower than 13.5V, it indicates that the alternator output voltage is low, which results in insufficient battery power replenishment. In addition, if the measured power generation of the alternator is normal, it indicates that there may be a fault inside the battery, and further testing of the battery is required.

3️⃣ Observe whether the alternator shakes or makes abnormal noise

👉🏻👉🏻 When the engine is working, judge the running status of the alternator by observing whether the engine shakes and abnormal noise. The alternator is usually installed at the front of the alternator compartment to the left (vertical engine), or close to the right headlight (transverse engine)position. If you hear an abnormal noise with the same frequency as the engine speed, it may be a mechanical failure of the alternator or belt tensioner and other components, making noise.

1️⃣ 观察车灯照明

👉🏻👉🏻 在晚间驾车时，您可以关注车内外照明灯的亮度和闪烁情况。

👉🏻👉🏻 当您晚间驾车时看到车辆仪表板，多媒体显示屏，阅读灯以及各种案件背光出现明暗闪烁。或是发动机 (Alternator) 怠速运转时，在车外看到车辆前照灯（主要是卤素灯）的亮度变暗，或是出现闪烁，通常说明发电机 (Alternator) 存在发电量低，或输出电压不稳定的问题。

2️⃣ 使用简单的工具测量电压

👉🏻👉🏻 如果手边有万用表，您可以通过测量发电机 (Alternator) 的输出电压来判断发电机 (Alternator) 的工作状态。

👉🏻👉🏻 若您发现车辆已经出现难以启动的情况，请尽快用万用表测量蓄电池的空载电压，即钥匙门处于关闭状态时的蓄电池电压。如果这个电压值低于12.8V，则说明空载电压偏低，会引起车辆启动不顺畅。随后，起动发电机 (Alternator) ，再次测量蓄电池两个极柱之间的电压。如果测量值低于13.5V，说明发电机 (Alternator) 输出电压低，导致蓄电池的电量补充不足。另外，如果测量到的发电机 (Alternator) 发电量正常，则说明蓄电池内部可能存在故障，需要对蓄电池做进一步的检测。

3️⃣ 观察发电机 (Alternator) 是否有抖动或异响

👉🏻👉🏻 发动机 (Alternator) 工作时，通过观察发动机 (Alternator) 是否有抖动和异响，来判断发电机的运转状态，发电机通常安装在发电机舱前部偏左（纵置发动机），或接近右前大灯（横置发动机）的位置。如果听见发动机 (Alternator) 传来与发动机转速频率相同的异响，则可能是发电机 (Alternator) 抽承或皮带张紧器等部件存在机械故障，发出噪声。

🛎🛎 由于长时间工作以及受到皮带拉力影响，发电机转子轴承会因为疲劳而出现机械损伤。久而久之，发电机 (Alternator) 的电能输出也会出现下降。

2️⃣ Gunakan alat mudah untuk mengukur voltan

👉🏻👉🏻 Sekiranya anda mempunyai multimeter, anda boleh menilai status kerja alternator dengan mengukur voltan output alternator.

🛎🛎 Kerana berjam-jam bekerja dan kesan ketegangan tali belting, alternator akan rosak secara mekanikal kerana keletihan. Setelah jangka masa yang panjang, output elektrik alternator juga akan berkurang.

⚠️⚠️ If the Alternator is damaged, it can be repaired. Spending money on new ones are unnecessary.

✅ The alternator is a very important component. Normally, people do not notice the battery indicator in the meter panel. Under normal circumstances, the battery indicator should light up when the key is turned on but the engine remain not started. The battery indicator light will switch off when the engine is started. If the battery indicator remains lighted, this indicates a fault in the charging system.

✅ If the battery indicator lights up, immediately switch off all the vehicle's high-powered electrical parts, such as headlights, air conditioners, cd player, etc. This is necessary in order to save electricity, because the alternator is no longer generating electricity. Under normal circumstances, this indicates that the alternator is damaged.

✅ When the alternator is damaged, it will not immediately switch off, but will continue to operate with battery power, so it is advisable to bring your vehicle to the nearest workshop. The most common damaged part of the alternator are the carbon brushes.

✅ There are two carbon brushes in the alternator. It's function is to power the rotor and generate a magnetic field, followed by a voltage regulator to adjust the magnetic force of the rotor to change the output voltage of the alternator. The carbon brush is best recommended to be repaired and can be found at spare parts shop.

✅ If the carbon brush is worn out, it is unable to conduct electricity. Replace it with a new one and continue to use it. Many workshops do not repair it, but you can request the mechanics to remove it for you, repair the carbon brush and reinstall in the alternator.

Efficient and cost-saving!

【The origin of Thaipusam 】

This festival was (according to one tradition) said to have been supposedly created during one of the battles between the Asuras (or to be more specific Soorapadman) and the Devas.

At one point, the latter were defeated several times by the former. The Devas were unable to resist the onslaught of the Asura forces.

In despair, they approached Shiva and entreated to give them an able leader under whose heroic leadership they might obtain victory over the Asuras.

They surrendered themselves completely and prayed to Shiva. Shiva granted their request by creating the mighty warrior, Skanda, out of his own power or Achintya Shakti. He at once assumed leadership of the celestial forces, inspired them and defeated the Asura forces and to recognise that day the people created the festival, Thaipusam.

According to the Hindu Purana Skanda Puranam, the legend of Murugan, and Thirupugal which are divine verses on Murugan, adhere to Shaivam principles. Murugan is the embodiment of Shiva's light and wisdom and devotees pray to him to overcome the obstacles they face, as He is the divine vanquisher of evil.

The motive of Thaipusam festival is to pray to God to receive his grace so that bad traits are destroyed。

3️⃣ 準備一组好的跨接电缆（“负极（-）线”与“正极（+）线”）.

4️⃣ 把跨接电缆一端的“负极（-）线”，接到你车上电池的负极，再把跨接电缆的另一端的负极（-）线，接到对方的电池负极.

5️⃣ 把你那端的“正极（+）线”，接到你车电池的正极，然后，再把对方端的“正极（+）线”，接好到对方电池的“正极（+）线”.

6️⃣ 请对方把他的车打着，踩点空油，维持转数在2500-3000RPM 左右.

7️⃣ 你也进你的车，试试打火。如果真的是电池没电，应该很快就可以发动起来。如果还是不好打火，那就让对方的车加加油门，再增加电箱的电量试试，还不行就说明对方的车辆电箱电量也不足.

6️⃣ Minta pihak lain mehidupkan kerenderaannya, menginjak sedikit bahan bakar kosong, dan menjaga kelajuan sekitar 2500-3000RPM.

7️⃣ Anda juga masuk ke dalam kereta anda dan hidupkannya. Sekiranya bateri benar-benar mati, ia mesti segera dimulakan. ✅ 其实，灯泡能不能换，主要是通过型号和底座的型号，如果型号不对，不管是什么灯，都是装不上的！

✅ 型号的不同，对应的接口都是不同的，这是不能通用的。当然，这和对应的车灯也是有关系的。

H系列为原车卤素灯系列

D系列为原车氙气灯系列

✅ 搞清楚这个，我们再来看看H系列有什么？

🖋️ H常见：

H1、H4、H7、H11、HB3、HB4......

⭕ H1为单丝单脚灯泡多用于远光照明，由于灯丝和支架距离比较远，强烈震动的时候容易断丝，现在新款车型比较少采用。

⭕ H3的灯泡一般用在雾灯，现在的车型比较少用，接近淘汰状态。

⭕ H4为双丝伞脚灯泡也就是我们所说的远近一体，对于车厂来说，成本比较低，大量应用于中低端车型。

⭕ H7为单丝双脚灯泡多用于近光照明，它的灯泡设计比较合理，是车灯的主流型号之一。

⭕ H8是35W的，一般用在雾灯。

⭕ H9是55W的，一般应用在远光

⭕ H11是55W的，一般应用在近光。其实H8、H9和H11灯泡比较相似，要对着实物才能分辨细节不同，看标注的型号为主。

⭕ H16的灯泡近两年才出现，一般用于日行灯，或者雾灯，目前不是很多见现在都流行LED了，估计不会大量应用。⭕ 9005又叫HB3，一般用在远光。
⭕ 9006又叫HB4，一般应用在近光。

🔘 这种灯不是很多见，型号名称也比较杂，用在部分车型的雾灯。

⭕ 9004和9007，这两种灯是远近光一体的。也是基本属于淘汰状态，知道有就好了。

🔘 远近光分开的车灯，车灯的空间相对来说会小一点，深度也可能不够，这个在接单的时候要注意，也就是说要熟悉车型车灯情况。

🔘 远近光分开的车型，车灯也按调节方式分两种，一种是调节的时候，远近光一起动的，有一种是远近光独立调节的。远近光一起调节的要注意一个情况，就是近光位置透镜定位的时候，一定要参照远光，以免一个照天，一个照地。

To understand these, you first need to know what are the reasons to use a clutch pulley ❓

✅ The reason for installing a clutch pulley on the alternator:

The normal power transmission is belt-driven: the engine and alternator rely on belts and other components to complete the power transmission. Small changes in the engine can cause interference in the operation of the belt, like slipping and accompanying squeaky noise, that could increase wear of the belt. Ever since the beginning, certain manufacturers uses direct usage of one-way clutches on the starter. Ever since the beginning of the 21st century, they have developed and manufactured one-way pulleys for automotive alternators with built-in one-way clutches with variable, and highly reliable drive system.

✅ What are the characteristics of the alternator clutch pulley, and what are the differences between a normal pulley and a clutch pulley. How to distinguish the differences between the normal pulley and clutch pulley?

1️⃣ Has one-way slip performance, the basic principle is similar to the one-way clutch gear on the starter

2️⃣ It can be divided into two parts: outer ring and inner ring. If the inner ring speed (rotor speed) exceeds the outer ring speed during operation, the pulley slips off the belt, and the inner ring and the outer ring are disengaged.

3️⃣ A plastic cover is sometimes used to cover the port of the clutch pulley, to prevent dust from entering, it is commonly known as a dust cover.

4️⃣ The thread can be rotated directly on the back above the rotor shaft. So there are no hex nuts on the outer end of the wheel

5️⃣ Normal pulleys are triangular, whereas clutch pulleys are wedge-shaped, in order for the alternator to obtain good performance during operation

6️⃣ Special tools are required when fixing or removing the clutch pulley of the alternator, because of the special structure, the new pulley must be tightened or removed with a special tool. The main part of the special tool is the mandrel that matches the gear teeth in the pulley (The diameter of the mandrel is 19.99mm, and the number of teeth of the mandrel is 33 teeth)

7️⃣ Must be equipped with a standard screwdriver head:
🅰️ optional Ф10, 12 angle screwdriver head, length is 70mm.
🅱️ optional Ф10, 6-angle screwdriver head, length is 70mm.

✅ What are the benefits of installing a clutch pulley?

1️⃣ The performance improvement brought to the front end accessory belt drive system is:

⭕ Reduce belt vibration

⭕ Reduce belt tension

⭕ Reduce the tensioning stroke of the tensioner belt

⭕ Improve belt life

⭕ Reduce belt noise

⭕ AC️ Increase the increment of the alternator when the engine is idling

⭕ Improve the belt transmission noise and slippage of the generator when the car shifts gear

传统的动力传递是皮带驱动方式：发动机与发电机之间是靠皮带等部件来完成动力传递的。发动机一侧微小的转速变化，都能引起皮带工作的不稳定、打滑，以及与此伴随产生噪声，甚至降低皮带的寿命。基于此，一些厂家从起动机上采用了数种单向离合器的情况得到启发，从21世纪初就开始研发、制造出了内装单向离合器的汽车发电机皮带轮，开发出可以吸收转速变化、高可靠性的驱动系统。

✅ 发电机单向皮带轮有哪些特点，与传统发电机皮带轮有哪些区别，如何辨别真假单向皮带轮？

1️⃣ 具有单向打滑性能，其基本原理类似启动机上的单向离合器齿轮

2️⃣ 可分为外圈与内圈两个部分，在运转中若出现内圈转速(即转子转速)超过外圈转速的情况，皮带轮立即打滑，此时内圈与外圈之间脱离。

3️⃣ 有一个塑料罩，罩在端口防止灰尘进入内部，俗称防尘罩。

4️⃣ 依靠其背面的螺纹直接旋转在转子轴上。因此在轮的外端面没有六角螺母

5️⃣ 普通皮带轮是三角形，单向皮带轮是楔形，使发电机在运行中得到了良好的性能

6️⃣ 必须用特殊的工具进行固定或卸下：由于结构上的特殊性，新皮带轮必须用专用工具将皮带轮扭紧或卸下，专用工具的主要部分是与皮带轮内的轮齿相匹配的芯轴(芯轴的外径中19．99mm，芯轴的齿数是33齿)

7️⃣ 必须配用标准的旋具头：
🅰️ 可选用Ф10、12角旋具头，长度为70mm。
🅱️ 可选用Ф10、 6角旋具头, 长度为70mm。

Sejak awal abad ke-21, mereka telah mengembangkan dan mengeluarkan katrol sehala untuk pengganti automotif dengan cengkaman sehala terbina dalam dengan sistem pemacu yang berubah-ubah dan sangat dipercayai.

✅ Apa ciri-ciri clutch pulley alternator, dan apakah perbezaan antara pulley biasa dan clutch pulley.bagaimana membezakan perbezaan antara pulley normal dan clutch pulley?

1️⃣ Mempunyai prestasi slip sehala, prinsip asasnya serupa dengan gear klac sehala pada starter

2️⃣ Ia boleh dibahagikan kepada dua bahagian: cincin luar dan cincin dalaman. Sekiranya kelajuan gelang dalam (kelajuan pemutar) melebihi kelajuan gelang luar semasa operasi,belting tergelincir dari pulley dan cincin dalaman dan gelang luar dilepaskan.

3️⃣ Penutup plastik kadang-kadang digunakan untuk menutupi lubang2 supaya untuk mengelakkan masuknya habuk, biasanya dikenali sebagai penutup debu.

4️⃣ Benang boleh diputar secara langsung di bahagian belakang di atas batang pemutar. Oleh itu, tidak ada kacang hex di hujung roda luar

5️⃣ Pulley normal berbentuk segitiga, sedangkan katrol clutch berbentuk baji, agar alternator memperoleh prestasi yang baik semasa operasi

6️⃣ Alat khas diperlukan semasa memperbaiki atau melepaskan clutch pulley alternator, kerana struktur khas, pulley baru mesti diketatkan atau dilepaskan dengan alat khas. Bahagian utama alat khas adalah mandrel yang sesuai dengan gigi roda gigi di pulley (Diameter mandrel adalah 19.99mm, dan jumlah gigi mandrel adalah 33 gigi)

7️⃣ Hendaklah dilengkapi dengan pemutar skru standard:
🅰️ Pilihan Ф10, pemutar skru 12 sudut, panjangnya 70mm.
🅱️ Pilihan Ф10, pemutar skru 6 sudut, panjangnya 70mm.

卤素灯（Halogen lamp）

氙气灯（Xenon lamp）

‼️‼️ The differences between xenon lamps and halogen lamps are listed below:

1️⃣ Xenon lamps are illuminated by high-voltage arc discharge, so xenon lamps need to be equipped with additional electronically controlled starting devices outside the bulb, commonly known as ballasts, because lighting xenon lamps requires a starting voltage of 23,000 volts. Ordinary cars equipped with halogen lamps only requires a 12-volt working voltage stabilizer as an independent component other than the bulb, which has an important impact on the reliability of the entire xenon lamp. In addition, as the stabilizer is a high-voltage electrical device, its own safety is also very important.

2️⃣ If only the xenon bulb is modified but the lamp is not replaced accordingly, the desired effect cannot be achieved. That is because the xenon lamp emits light by the arc, and the shape of the arc itself will be slightly curved compared to the neatly shaped filament of the halogen lamp, therefore making the design of the xenon lamp different. Due to the curved shape, the focus position of the original halogen lamp cannot fully adapt to the electric bluff of the xenon lamp.

3️⃣ The xenon lamp has a long lifespan, however, the quality of the ballast is directly related to the life of the entire system due to xenon lamp being unable to function independently. The inferior ballasts sold on the market cannot be guaranteed to have the same lifespan as the xenon bulb, it also produces strong electromagnetic interference during work, which affects the operation of the radio in the car. Although the xenon bulb is rarely broken, it is filled with high-pressure xenon gas of up to 6 atmospheres and a certain amount of mercury and metal halides. If it bursts or leaks, it not only pollutes the environment, but also causes harm to people and vehicles.

4️⃣ Why do most of the modified xenon lamps look very glaring at night, till the point that drivers' visibility are affected?

Although the curved reflector used in general halogen lamps can be installed with simple modification by just changing the focus of the brightness, it is difficult to produce a clear cut-off line for the original halogen lamp, and causes some of the light to be scattered to angles that are not necessary for illumination. Some high-end vehicle models' original xenon lamps are specially designed to match the characteristics of xenon lamps which results in the xenon lamps look bright, but not glaring at all. This ensures clear brightness and does not affect the other drivers on the road.

5️⃣ Due to the different brightness level between the xenon lamp and the halogen lamp, using the reflector of the halogen lamp will cause the light reflected by the xenon lamp to be a little too bright. Lights that are too bright, may interfere with the driver of the oncoming vehicle's judgment of the road condition, and, on the other hand, will also affect the normal judgment of the driver due to the excessive contrast between the light and darkness at different positions of the road.

6️⃣ In Europe, the xenon lamp also requires a headlight cleaning device to prevent dust and dirt from forming scattering on the lampshade, affecting the sight of the driver in the oncoming vehicle.

‼️‼️ 氙气灯与卤素灯的区别主要如下：

1️⃣ 氙气灯是靠高压电弧放电来照明的，所以氙气灯需要在灯泡之外配备额外的电子控制启动装置，俗称安定器，因为点亮氙气灯需要2.3万伏的启动电压，而普通车用卤素灯只需要12伏的工作电压安定器作为灯泡之外的一个独立部件，对整套氙气灯的可靠性产生重要影响，此外，安定器作为一种高压电器装置，其自身的安全性也非常重要。

2️⃣ 如果只改装氙气灯泡却不相应地更换灯具，则并不能取得理想效果。因为由于氙气灯靠电弧发光，而电弧本身的形状会略显弯曲，因此与卤素灯形状整齐的灯丝相比，氙气灯在灯具的设计上会有所不同。由于形状弯曲，原有卤素灯灯具的焦点位置并不能完全适应氙气灯的电唬。

3️⃣ 氙气灯虽然寿命很长，但由于它并不是独立工作的，所以安定器质量的好坏直接关系到整套系统的寿命长短。市场上出售的劣质安定器，不仅不能保证与氙气灯泡同寿命，更会在工作时产生强烈的电磁干扰，影响车内收音机工作。氙气灯泡虽然很少会坏，但由于其内部充有高达6个大气压的高压氙气和一定量的汞与金属卤化物，如果发生爆裂或泄漏不仅污染环境，也有可能会伤人、伤车。

4️⃣ 为什么很多改装后的氙气灯晚上看起来非常晃眼，让迎面来车的驾驶员根本无法看清路面?

一般卤素灯使用的曲面反射镜虽然可以通过简单改装将氙气灯安装上去，但由于焦点变化，改装后很难产生原有卤素灯清晰的灯光截止线，部分光线散射到本不该照亮的角度。而一些高档车原装的氙气灯，灯具是根据氙气灯的特点专门设计的，虽然看上去很亮但并不觉得刺眼，既保证了高亮度，也不会影响到路面上其他司机的正常驾驶。

5️⃣ 另外，由于氙气灯和卤素灯两种光源发光的亮度不同，使用卤素灯的反射镜会使氙气灯反射出的光线产生局部过亮的情况。局部过强的光线，一方面可能干扰迎面来车的司机判断路况，另一方面也会因为前方路面不同位置明暗对比度过大，影响本车司机对路面情况的正常判断。

6️⃣ 在欧洲，对氙气灯还要求必须加装大灯清洗装置，防止灯罩上的蒙尘和污物形成散射，影响对面来车司机的视线。

‼️‼️ Perbezaan antara lampu xenon dan lampu halogen disenaraikan di bawah:

1️⃣ Lampu Xenon diterangi oleh pelepasan busur voltan tinggi, jadi lampu xenon perlu dilengkapi dengan alat permulaan tambahan yang dikendalikan secara elektronik di luar mentol, yang biasanya dikenal sebagai pemberat, kerana lampu xenon pencahayaan memerlukan voltan permulaan 23.000 volt. Kereta biasa yang dilengkapi dengan lampu halogen hanya memerlukan penstabil voltan kerja 12 volt sebagai komponen bebas selain mentol, yang mempunyai kesan penting terhadap kebolehpercayaan keseluruhan lampu xenon. Di samping itu, kerana penstabil adalah alat elektrik voltan tinggi, keselamatannya sendiri juga sangat penting.

2️⃣ Sekiranya hanya lampu xenon yang diubah tetapi lampu tidak diganti dengan tepat, kesan yang diinginkan tidak dapat dicapai. Ini kerana lampu xenon memancarkan cahaya oleh bujur, dan bentuk bujur itu sendiri akan sedikit melengkung dibandingkan dengan filamen lampu halogen yang rapi, sehingga membuat reka bentuk lampu xenon berbeza. Oleh kerana bentuk melengkung, kedudukan fokus lampu halogen asal tidak dapat sepenuhnya menyesuaikan diri dengan gegaran elektrik lampu xenon.

3️⃣ Lampu xenon mempunyai jangka hayat yang panjang, namun kualiti pemberat secara langsung berkaitan dengan kehidupan seluruh sistem kerana lampu xenon tidak dapat berfungsi secara bebas. Ballast inferior yang dijual di pasaran tidak dapat dijamin memiliki jangka hayat yang sama dengan bola lampu xenon, ia juga menghasilkan gangguan elektromagnetik yang kuat semasa bekerja, yang mempengaruhi operasi radio di dalam kereta. Walaupun mentol xenon jarang pecah, ia dipenuhi dengan gas xenon tekanan tinggi hingga 6 atmosfera dan sejumlah halida merkuri dan logam. Sekiranya pecah atau bocor, tidak hanya mencemarkan alam sekitar, tetapi juga menyebabkan bahaya kepada orang dan kenderaan.

4️⃣ Mengapakah kebanyakan lampu xenon yang diubah suai kelihatan sangat kabur pada waktu malam, sehingga tahap penglihatan pemandu terjejas.

Walaupun reflektor melengkung yang digunakan pada lampu halogen umum dapat dipasang dengan pengubahsuaian sederhana dengan hanya mengubah fokus kecerahan, sukar untuk menghasilkan garis pemotongan yang jelas untuk lampu halogen yang asli, dan menyebabkan sebilangan cahaya tersebar ke sudut yang tidak perlu untuk pencahayaan. Beberapa lampu xenon asli model kenderaan mewah direka khas untuk menyamai ciri-ciri lampu xenon yang mengakibatkan lampu xenon kelihatan terang, tetapi sama sekali tidak silau. Ini memastikan kecerahan yang jelas dan tidak mempengaruhi pemandu lain di jalan raya.

5️⃣ Oleh kerana tahap kecerahan yang berbeza antara lampu xenon dan lampu halogen, penggunaan reflektor lampu halogen akan menyebabkan cahaya yang dipantulkan oleh lampu xenon menjadi terlalu terang. Lampu yang terlalu terang, boleh mengganggu pemandu kenderaan menilai keadaan jalan yang akan datang, dan, sebaliknya, juga akan mempengaruhi penilaian normal pemandu kerana perbezaan yang berlebihan antara cahaya dan kegelapan pada kedudukan yang berbeza jalan raya.

6️⃣ Di Eropah, lampu xenon juga memerlukan alat pembersih lampu depan untuk mengelakkan habuk dan kotoran terbentuk dari hamburan pada kap lampu, sehingga mempengaruhi penglihatan pemandu di kenderaan yang akan datang.
